First weeks post

Thank you to everyone to giving this blog thing a try. We are grading a little high this time around to encourage everyone to keep up the good work. Two problems, 1) These are not meant to be opinion pieces. You need to make arguments with evidence and qualifications. That is part of the drill. Some of you made an attempt but no one got it completely right. 2) Can’t always tell who is writing the post. Please sign your post with your name as it appears on your ID card so you can get credit. Matching names to screen names is sometimes hazardous. Please just sign.
